Firebird by Nezumi46 Firebird by Nezumi46
A colossus of fire slowly being consumed by the banked heat of his element.

A pile of dead creatures was set ablaze to keep their bodies from becoming tools of Elemental Death, but have been claimed from their funeral pyres and reformed by Elemental Fire.

The fire burns in the hollows centers of the bones and slips out through cracks that have formed because of the heat. This makes him more of a smoldering threat instead of a raging wildfire. He's surrounded by heat waves and an almost constant cloud of steam as he burns off the moisture in the clouds. The fabric hanging from him is slowly burning away in places and any detail on his gold ornaments and feather beads have begun to run.

I love skeletons, so this grabbed my attention! I like the description you provided and the whole idea of it producing steam wherever it goes. It adds a ghostly quality to this already dead-looking creature. Those ornaments on its primary feathers are not something I've seen done before, and I really like the final shapes of the feathers because of it, the way they get pinched in and then just continue on normally from that point.

All the sparkling gold and jewels are an interesting, sort of regal contrast with the whole theme of death! And I have to say that I love the colour of the wings and keep wanting to stare at them!
